Job Description
As a System Engineer in R&D at Evatec, you initiate and support the selection, integration, and qualification of devices and system components. You assist customer projects, manage subsystem specifications, analyze product discontinuations, maintain internal standards, support engineering processes, and coordinate technical documentation.
What you will be doing
- check Supporting the technology development team in the development of new, innovative coating systems, system components and process solutions
- check Definition and specification of system components and assemblies
- check Specification and qualification of purchased coating system subsystems
- check Initiating and supporting the development and testing of new hardware and software for the coating systems in collaboration with Engineering
- check Supporting and conducting experiments to improve the hardware and processes for thin film deposition
- check Supporting customers, product management, service organization, customer service, application and process engineering with system issues
What you should bring
- check Completed technical education (HF, HTL, FH, ETH) in systems engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, microtechnology or equivalent
- check Knowledge of vacuum technology or the semiconductor industry is an advantage
- check Problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- check High degree of independence and initiative in carrying out work
- check Fluent in written and spoken German and English
