Job Description
As a PLC Developer at Evatec, you design, program, and maintain PLC systems for automation processes. You develop control strategies, troubleshoot issues, and optimize system performance. You also collaborate with engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of automation solutions.
What you will be doing
- check Developing code according specification
- check Programming on TIA portal from Siemens
- check Installing and testing the machine programs
- check Determining machine automation test criteria before the final installation
- check Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability
- check Troubleshooting system errors
- check Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs
- check Documenting development processes
- check Providing clients with technical support
What you should bring
- check Bachelor's degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field
- check PLC technical certification preferred
- check At least 3 year's experience as a PLC programmer preferred
- check In-depth knowledge / Understanding of mechanical, technical and physical processes
- check Knowledge of software design principals
- check Detailed knowledge of PLC automation software and coding languages
- check Ability to work with minimal supervision
- check Ability to travel when required
