Job Description
As a Technical Marketing Manager, you connect customer requirements with Evatec’s global technology roadmap and help drive innovation in thin‑film deposition. You lead technical discussions, roadmap alignments and customer workshops with key accounts in Taiwan. With your expertise, you strengthen Evatec’s position as a trusted technology partner in the semiconductor and advanced packaging industry.
What you will be doing
- check Promote technologies effectively: you proactively introduce Evatec’s products and technologies at customer sites in alignment with BU / PMM at Swiss HQ
- check Clarify technical requirements: you analyse process flows and device specifications and provide early technical assessments
- check Support marketing activities: you prepare technical papers and presentations, represent the BU at exhibitions, and coordinate customer sampling activities
- check Drive roadmap discussions: you lead technology and roadmap meetings with key customers and organise on‑site workshops to align long‑term strategies
- check Provide market insights: you monitor new technologies, customer trends and potential business opportunities and report regularly to HQ and the VP Sales & Marketing Greater China
What you should bring
- check Strong technical background: you have deep knowledge in semiconductor, advanced packaging, photonics or optoelectronics
- check Hands‑on technical expertise: you are experienced in device characterisation and sputtering processes
- check Excellent communication: you are fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English and can present complex topics clearly
- check Analytical and structured: you work solution‑oriented and prepare reports in a clear and professional format
- check Industry experience: ideally you hold a Master’s or PhD and have 5+ years of experience in high‑volume manufacturing environments
