Job Description
As a Field Application Engineer in Taiwan, you support customers directly on advanced Evatec production systems. You combine strong technical expertise with customer interaction and global collaboration. A role for professionals who enjoy responsibility and cutting‑edge technology.
What you will be doing
- check Customer support: you provide on‑site support for customers operating Evatec production equipment in Taiwan
- check Acceptance testing: you perform Initial Acceptance Tests (IAT) and Final Acceptance Tests (FAT) at customer sites
- check Troubleshooting: you diagnose and resolve hardware‑ and process‑related issues on Evatec systems
- check Interface role: you communicate closely with technical and business stakeholders at Evatec headquarters in Switzerland
- check International exposure: you travel as required for assignments and training within the region or globally
What you should bring
- check Technical background: you ideally hold a Master’s degree in engineering or a related field
- check Process expertise: you have experience with sputter or evaporation tools or a strong background in thin‑film semiconductor materials
- check Semiconductor knowledge: you understand the basic mechanisms of semiconductor devices such as sensors or diodes
- check Hands-on mindset: you bring strong electrical and mechanical skills
- check Communication & adaptability: you are fluent in English and Chinese and adapt quickly to new situations
