Job Description
Are you interested in working at the interface of high-tech systems, software and customer requirements while driving innovative system solutions forward? As a System Engineer in Technology Development, you contribute to the further development of our systems by developing and integrating new solutions and supporting internal teams as well as customers with technical topics. You analyse complex relationships and translate requirements into robust, implementable concepts.
What you will be doing
- check Develop system solutions: you design and integrate new solutions at the interface of hardware, software and equipment
- check Specify components: you define system components, subsystems and assemblies and ensure their interaction
- check Run tests & drive integration: you test prototypes and systems, analyse results and continuously improve solutions
- check Assess technical risks: you identify risks early and implement appropriate mitigation measures
- check Collaborate across interfaces: you work closely with internal teams and customers and support technical topics
What you should bring
- check Education: you hold a degree in electrical engineering or microtechnology or have comparable experience in vacuum technology
- check Analytical mindset: you understand technical relationships and develop structured, sustainable solutions
- check Technical expertise: you are familiar with thin-film and/or vacuum technologies
- check Collaboration skills: you communicate clearly and work well across teams
- check Language & travel readiness: you communicate fluently in German and English and are willing to travel approx. 10%
