Job Description

You work where complex systems, software and customer requirements meet. As a System Engineer Customer Solutions, you bring systems into operation worldwide, analyse issues down to the root cause and translate customer needs into robust, practical solutions. A role for engineers who take ownership, go deep technically and want to create visible impact.

What you will be doing

  • check Commission systems: you support installation teams and customers during system commissioning and handover
  • check Solve technical issues: you analyse and resolve software and hardware problems, both internally and on customer sites
  • check Translate requirements: you specify customer‑specific system and software requirements and collaborate closely with product management
  • check Ensure quality: you test and qualify system software and new system components
  • check Structure knowledge: you maintain technical system documentation and coordinate technical topics across service, engineering and product management

What you should bring

  • check Technical background: you have a technical education or degree (HF, FH, ETH or equivalent) in system engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or a related field
  • check Industry experience: experience in vacuum technology, semiconductor industry or equipment engineering is an advantage
  • check Hands‑on mindset: you work independently, solution‑oriented and stay focused even in complex situations
  • check Communication skills: you communicate clearly and confidently with customers and internal stakeholders
  • check Languages & mobility: you are fluent in English and German and are willing to travel approximately 10% worldwide
