Job Description
Do you want your work to make a real difference for the environment, climate and responsible business practices? As a Specialist in Quality, Environment and Sustainability (QHSE), you play a key role in our greenhouse gas accounting, the implementation of our sustainability strategy and the continuous improvement of our environmental management system. We particularly welcome applications from people who want to actively shape diversity and sustainability in our organisation.
What you will be doing
- check Develop greenhouse gas inventories: you prepare and maintain our carbon footprints and ensure they are used as a solid basis for our sustainability strategy
- check Drive sustainability reporting: you prepare sustainability reports in line with relevant standards (e.g. GRI, CSRD, CDP) and provide clear decision-making support for management
- check Support Science Based Targets implementation: you contribute to tracking and achieving our goals within the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and support the planning and implementation of related measures
- check Strengthen environmental management: you manage and further develop our environmental management system according to ISO 14001 and support internal and external audits in quality, environment and occupational safety
- check Raise awareness & lead projects: you train and engage employees on sustainability topics and actively shape new projects in the field of sustainability and QHSE
What you should bring
- check Relevant education: you have a degree or vocational qualification in sustainability, environmental management or a comparable field
- check Experience in sustainability work: you have experience in preparing greenhouse gas inventories and sustainability reporting; ideally, you are familiar with standards and frameworks such as ISO 14001, GRI, SBTi, CDP, GHG Protocol or CSRD
- check Analytical and structured mindset: you think analytically, work in a structured way and are able to communicate complex topics clearly
- check Confidence with data and tools: you are proficient in MS Office; experience with data analysis tools is an advantage you are keen to use
- check Initiative and willingness to travel: You like to take initiative, are open to new challenges and are willing to travel for audits, trainings and project meetings (national and international). Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
