Project Leader for Customer Projects
Job Description
Do you want to actively shape customer projects from order intake through to installation and final acceptance? As Project Leader Customer Projects, you lead international projects in PVD and vacuum technology, combining technical expertise with customer focus and project management. With your experience, you take ownership and ensure structured and successful execution.
What you will be doing
- Take ownership: you lead customer projects from order intake, ensure a solid project setup and coordinate kick-off as well as alignment with internal stakeholders
- Ensure control: you manage budget, timeline and quality, ensuring structured execution across all project phases
- Support procurement: you oversee purchasing activities and ensure transparency and progress across the supply chain
- Coordinate installation & acceptance: you plan and manage installation and acceptance phases (IAT) with internal and external partners
- Drive collaboration: you act as the central point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders and proactively drive projects forward
What you should bring
- Bring experience: you have around 5 years of experience in technical project management in an industrial environment
- Educational background: you hold a higher technical degree (FH/ETH/University) or equivalent
- Technical understanding: ideally you have exposure to PVD or vacuum technology or are eager to learn
- Strong communication: you are well connected across the organization and ensure clear and structured alignment
- Languages & mobility: you are fluent in German and English and willing to travel (approx. 15–20%)
