Job Description
As a Project Buyer with vision, you ensure optimal conditions for the procurement of electronic and mechanical components in the project environment. You actively develop supplier relationships, contribute fresh ideas for leaner procurement processes and ensure supply security in demanding project
What you will be doing
- check Project purchasing with precision: you take responsibility for the on-time procurement of mechanical and electronic components according to project planning
- check Supplier selection with vision: you request quotations, compare offers and make decisions based on cost, quality and delivery time
- check Teamwork at eye level: you collaborate closely with project management, development, category management and operational purchasing
- check Supplier performance in focus: you monitor critical suppliers, escalate deviations and communicate transparently with stakeholders
- check Shaping processes: you optimise procurement processes and ensure timely and accurate maintenance of purchasing-relevant data in the ERP system
What you should bring
- check Procurement experience with depth: you have 5–10 years of experience in technical purchasing, ideally in project business or special machinery
- check Technical understanding with practical relevance: you are familiar with working alongside development and project teams
- check IT affinity: you are confident using MS Office and ERP systems – SAP knowledge is a plus
- check Communicative and solution-oriented: you present yourself confidently in German and English, bring negotiation skills and work in a structured way – even when things get fast-paced
- check Willingness to travel: you are flexible and open to occasional business trips (approx. 10–15%)
