Job Description
With your passion as a Mechanical Engineer, you develop innovative solutions for our high‑tech systems, design complex assemblies and contribute your ideas to interdisciplinary projects. You combine strong technical expertise with a high standard of quality and compliance with applicable norms.
What you will be doing
- check Shape technology: you design complex assemblies, develop solutions for our coating systems, contribute ideas to customer projects and new developments, and stay up‑to‑date with design guidelines and industry standards
- check Develop solutions: you create design variants, present your concepts and actively contribute to customer projects and new developments
- check Improve products: you support existing systems and components, collaborate closely with project management and product management, and drive continuous improvements
- check Ensure quality: you support existing products, conduct design reviews and work closely with assembly, service, product management and suppliers
- check Live the standards: you design in compliance with applicable standards, organise FEM calculations and maintain technical data in CAD, PDM, PLM and ERP systems (SAP)
What you should bring
- check Technically solid: you have a completed education in mechanical engineering, at least as a certified design engineer (EFZ)
- check Hands‑on and curious: you have initial professional experience in mechanical design (approx. 2–3 years); knowledge of vacuum technology is an advantag
- check Digitally skilled: you work confidently with CAD (Inventor), PDM, PLM, ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office
- check Strong communicator: you speak English and German
- check Team player with drive: you are creative, resilient and actively contribute to interdisciplinary projects
