Job Description

As a Field Service Engineer at Evatec, you install and maintain coating machines on-site, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. You act as the interface between customers and management, providing technical support.

What you will be doing

  • check Carrying out the installation and maintenance of Evatec coating machinery and/or retrofits on-site at our client location in Fort Collins, CO
  • check Troubleshooting and repairing our machinery as needed
  • check Tracking and reporting machinery performance
  • check Providing recommendation, development, and execution of action plans to optimize the availability and performance of our machinery
  • check Providing technical support and advice for our customers
  • check Acting as interface between Evatec management and our customers
  • check Expediently escalating issues to supporting resources when necessary
  • check Working with technical support, customer & field engineers in isolating and solving problems
  • check Answering customers' questions and assisting them in a professional manner
  • check Performing administrative and coordination duties, including pass-downs, work orders, field service reports, system problem reports, and monthly reports
  • check Providing on-call daytime support according to company's on-call schedule, rotating among the technical support team
  • check Providing field service support to other Evatec client's locations (up to 20%)

What you should bring

  • check Minimum of 3 years of experience servicing Evatec equipment, and as much as possible with CLUSTERLINE® 200 generations
  • check Advanced Verbal and written language proficiency in English. Language skills in German is a plus
  • check MS-Office knowledge
  • check Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
  • check Ability to perform effectively in a demanding environment with changing workloads and expectations
  • check Strong customer focus and commitment to customer satisfaction
  • check Ability to train and mentor engineers and customer employees
  • check Willingness to continue learning and growing in a professional environment is necessary
  • check Certain willingness and capability to travel (up to 20%)
