Depending on your field of work, you will immerse yourself in electronics, design, mechanics, laboratory work, or logistics. From the very beginning, you will work on real tasks and learn step by step how high-tech systems are created. Your apprenticeship combines specialist lessons, internal training courses, and exciting projects within the company — ideal for understanding how everything fits together and how modern technologies are used in everyday life.
At Evatec, we operate worldwide. You will work with teams from different countries and experience how global projects are implemented. This will allow you to learn about the technical, organizational, and cultural requirements of an international company.

You will usually start with a trial day, where you will get to know the profession and your potential team. This is followed by a written application and interviews with the training managers, including an insight into your future workplace.

You will carry out experiments, help build prototypes and measure how materials and layers behave - using physical methods such as light, electricity or magnetic fields. You will work together with many experts: Scientists, mechanics, designers, automation specialists and engineers. You are the link between theory and practice - and make sure that everything runs smoothly.
You develop components and assemblies using 3D software - for machines, devices or technical products. You will work on entire projects or take on individual tasks. You order suitable parts such as electric motors, valves or gear wheels and create parts lists and operating instructions. In this way, you ensure that ideas become functioning technology.
You receive deliveries in the warehouse, check everything carefully and ensure that the goods are stored correctly. You are familiar with delivery documents and data - and know where things belong. When an order comes in, you put the delivery together, pack it securely and load it properly. You make sure that everything is stable and secured in accordance with regulations - so that there are no surprises along the way.
You build electrical control systems, machines and automated systems - and ensure that everything runs as it should. You are involved right from the start: planning, programming, assembling and testing. Together with other specialists, you will commission the systems, repair them if necessary and document everything properly. Technology that thinks - and you bring it to life.
You build, assemble and maintain electrical machines, devices and systems. You will wire electrical systems, put them into operation and check that everything works as planned. You work according to plans and checklists, document your work accurately and ensure that the technology runs reliably - from the first cable to the last test.
