Job Description

As Project Leader Customer Projects, you support the quotation process by providing technical input and working closely with Product Marketing and Product Management to accurately capture customer requirements. You coordinate projects from kick-off to final acceptance, plan system installations with the involved departments, and consolidate all technical information. Throughout the process, you keep a close eye on timelines and ensure that specifications and deadlines are met.

What you will be doing

  • check Support the quotation process: You provide technical input for offers and work closely with Product Marketing and Product Management to accurately capture customer requirements
  • check Manage customer projects: You plan and coordinate projects from kick-off to final acceptance (FAT), in collaboration with SCM, Engineering and Field Service
  • check Consolidate technical requirements: You gather all relevant information and documentation, and clarify open points directly with the customer via the local organization
  • check Plan system installations: You coordinate the installation and acceptance of systems together with Field Service, Process Engineering and Application Engineering
  • check Monitor project progress: You keep an eye on the timeline, actively manage all stakeholders and ensure that delivery dates and technical specifications are met

What you should bring

  • check Technical expertise: You hold a higher technical degree (HTL, FH, ETH, university) and/or have extensive experience in technical project management
  • check Experience with vacuum technology: You are familiar with PVD processes and vacuum systems or are motivated to learn
  • check Customer orientation: You communicate clearly, understand customer needs and find suitable solutions
  • check Team leadership & resilience: You have experience leading project teams and remain composed even in dynamic situations
  • check Languages & travel: You speak fluent German and English, additional languages are a plus, and you are willing to travel occasionally (approx. 10–15%)
