Job Description

As an apprenticeship trainer with a passion for engineering (50/50), you bring double value to our team: with heart and structure, you support the next generation of professionals and actively shape their training. At the same time, you contribute your technical expertise to the development and optimisation of our high-tech systems, combining educational commitment with engineering excellence.

What you will be doing

  • check Support the next generation with enthusiasm: you support our four apprentices in the field of mechanical design together with a small team of technical mentors, shape the training programme and coordinate the three learning environments: company, vocational school and training centre
  • check Take responsibility: you lead the apprenticeship reporting process, plan learning objectives, maintain contact with parents and prepare apprentices for their final exams
  • check Shape technology: you design complex assemblies, develop solutions for our coating systems and contribute your ideas to customer projects and new developments
  • check Ensure quality: you support existing products, lead design reviews, collaborate closely with assembly, service, product management and suppliers
  • check Live the standards: you design in compliance with norms, organise FEM calculations and maintain technical data in CAD, PDM, PLM and ERP systems (SAP)

What you should bring

  • check Technically solid: you have a background in mechanical engineering, ideally with a university degree, and bring experience in design
  • check Educationally committed: you enjoy working with young people and are familiar with the requirements of apprenticeship training
  • check Digitally skilled: you work confidently with CAD (Inventor), PDM, PLM, ERP systems (SAP) and MS Office
  • check Strong communicator: you speak fluent English and German
  • check Team player with drive: you contribute actively to interdisciplinary projects and enjoy sharing your knowledge
