For our North American entity we are looking for a

Customer Support Manager (CS Manager)

Evatec is a Swiss company with offices in the US, Europe and Asia that specializes in the development, production and sale of high-tech thin film deposition equipment for the semiconductor, optical and optoelectronics markets. From the high brightness LEDs in our cars to the sensors and filters in our mobile phones our know how enables the world’s leading manufacturers to deliver solutions for autonomous driving, smart wearables and hand held and high performance 5G mobile networks.

LOCATION: Hillsboro Office

Your main tasks:

  • Managing, scheduling and resource planning of the Field Service Team assigned to On-Site contracts across North America
  • Managing, scheduling and resource planning of Field Retrofits across North America, from PO to final payment
  • Managing, and resource planning of North American Evatec Warehouses and Repair/Refurbish Program
  • Supporting the Evatec North American Management in Compliance and Standards
    projects
  • Travelling approx. 20%, including occasional international travel

Your profile:

  • B.S. or equivalent experience
  • Technical experience in semiconductor equipment preferred
  • Self-starter, tenacious, resilient
  • Demonstrated ability to set and meet goals as well as lead others toward achieving
    those goals
  • Able to effectively interface with customers both verbally and through written
    communication
  • Ability to overcome adversity and high-pressure situations
  • Ability to recommend and execute effective solutions
  • Multicultural understanding
  • Solid IT user skills (MS Office, ERP systems, scheduling tools)
  • Fluent in English, knowledge in German and/or Spanish a plus
  • Eligible to work in the US; valid driver’s license, passport and credit card
