Job Description

You have a strong background in international trade, think in processes and stay on top of complex export regulations. In this key role as an Export & Import Specialist, you manage our global trade flows end to end, ensure compliance and smooth operations, and actively shape efficient logistics solutions with real impact. A role for professionals who take ownership and think globally.

What you will be doing

  • check Run import and export processes: you handle and coordinate import and export orders from order placement to final delivery, including all required documentation
  • check Be the go-to person: you support internal teams and external partners with questions around transport, export processes and customs
  • check Keep things compliant: you make sure trade regulations, export control rules and internal guidelines are followed
  • check Take care of licences and payments: you obtain export and re-export licences (incl. US regulations) and coordinate letters of credit and bank guarantees
  • check Manage logistics and costs: you book freight, organise dangerous goods shipments (IATA, ADR) and check freight and customs costs

What you should bring

  • check International trade experience: you have 3–5 years of experience in import and export order handling
  • check Relevant training: you completed further training in export or foreign trade, ideally with a background in logistics or an industrial environment
  • check Good regulatory understanding: you know your way around export control rules and US re-export regulations
  • check Hands-on mindset: you work independently, take initiative and understand products, technologies and customer needs
  • check Strong communication skills: you are confident in German and English and work in a structured, process-oriented way
