Job Description

As a Buyer on New Paths, you ensure optimal material availability, lead international price negotiations, and maintain master data in SAP. Your expertise in technical purchasing makes you a key player in shaping our supply chain.

What you will be doing

  • check Ensure material availability: you procure and manage materials within your assigned material group
  • check Manage processes: you handle purchase requisitions, quotations, orders, order confirmations, and dunning processes
  • check Negotiate effectively: you obtain international quotations and conduct price negotiations
  • check Maintain data: you create and update master data in SAP
  • check Manage deadlines and communication: you handle deadline escalations and provide regular reports to relevant stakeholders

What you should bring

  • check Technical foundation: you have completed a technical education, ideally complemented by further training in purchasing.
  • check Purchasing experience: you bring several years of experience and strong market knowledge in a technical environment.
  • check SAP expertise: you are familiar with SAP S/4 HANA.
  • check Strong communication skills: you present yourself confidently, negotiate effectively, and assert yourself when needed.
  • check Language skills: you have good English skills, both written and spoken.
