Job Description

As a Purchaser at Evatec, you are responsible for sourcing and procuring materials and services needed for production. You negotiate with suppliers, manage inventory levels, and ensure timely delivery of goods. Additionally, you collaborate with various departments to optimize purchasing strategies and maintain cost efficiency.

What you will be doing

  • check Global, operational procurement of assigned product groups and indirect needs
  • check Timely, economical procurement of small series parts
  • check Overseeing project procurement for assigned projects
  • check Obtaining and evaluating international offers
  • check Negotiating prices and managing deadlines
  • check Finalizing contracts
  • check Processing order confirmations and managing the "Purchasing" email inbox
  • check Handling spare parts requests and managing articles
  • check Supporting SAP inquiries

What you should bring

  • check Completed technical basic training, ideally with further education in procurement
  • check Professional experience as an operational purchaser
  • check Knowledge in SAP S/4 HANA and Kendox
  • check Competent demeanor towards suppliers and internal departments
  • check Negotiation skills and assertiveness
  • check Fluent English skills, as well as good German skills in both spoken and written form
