Job Description

As a Financial Accountant with an international focus, you manage the general ledger, prepare financial statements according to Swiss CO and Swiss GAAP FER, and coordinate Intercompany activities across global locations. You support audits, cash and FX management, and take ownership in projects. With your SAP know-how, you drive process improvements and strengthen our finance team.

What you will be doing

  • check Prepare financial statements: you maintain the general ledger and prepare monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with Swiss CO and Swiss GAAP FER – including consolidation in LucaNet and thorough analysis
  • check Coordinate Intercompany activities: you manage Intercompany reconciliations with international subsidiaries and clarify discrepancies in a proactive, solution-oriented manner
  • check Support audits: you assist in interim and year-end audits and ensure accurate and complete documentation
  • check Contribute to cash and FX management: you support cash management tasks, handle foreign currency topics and contribute to ongoing finance-related projects
  • check Drive SAP development: as a Key User SAP Public Cloud, you support SAP initiatives and continuously improve finance processes

What you should bring

  • check Accounting expertise: ou hold further education in accounting (e.g. Certified Accounting Specialist) and have around 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • check Project experience: you have managed or supported long-term projects and enjoy taking on a coordinating cross-functional role
  • check Strong communication skills: you act as a trustworthy and reliable contact person and can convince both factually and interpersonally
  • check System affinity: you have experience with ERP systems (e.g. BPS or similar) and possess strong Excel skills
  • check Language skills: you speak German very well and English well – both written and spoken
