Job Description

As a Buyer with technical passion, you bring your expertise into the procurement of our complex components, lead international negotiations and secure material availability. You connect Engineering, Production and Supply Chain into a strong and well‑coordinated whole and help shape our processes.

What you will be doing

  • check Ensure material availability: you procure complex systems and components, ensure the demand‑driven supply of your material groups and keep all requirements in view
  • check Clarify technical requirements: you read drawings, understand specifications and clarify technical details directly with Engineering and suppliers
  • check Manage procurement processes: you process purchase requisitions, quotations, orders and confirmations and handle dunning activities
  • check Lead negotiations: you obtain international quotations, compare technical options and negotiate prices
  • check Manage deadlines & communication: you handle delivery escalations and keep all relevant stakeholders informed

What you should bring

  • check Bring a technical foundation: you have completed a technical education, ideally complemented by further training in purchasing
  • check Live technical purchasing: you have 2–3 years of experience in purchasing and feel comfortable handling complex technical components
  • check Use SAP confidently: you are familiar with SAP S/4 HANA and maintain master data accurately
  • check Communicate effectively: you negotiate confidently and work solution-oriented with suppliers and internal stakeholders
  • check Apply your English skills: you communicate well in English, both spoken and written
