Technical Sales Manager

Your main tasks:

  • Responsibility to manage the product lifecycle for service products from idea generation and business justification to product development, introduction and pricing to obsolescence
  • Development of the service product portfolio along customer needs in strong collaboration with our Sales and Service Organizations (SSO)
  • Define service strategy, pricing and gross margin concept in collaboration with Business Units and SSOs
  • Consolidation of requirements, technical information, documentation and gathering missing information from customers via our SSOs to ensure an effective service product portfolio
  • Observation and analysis of the market for service capabilities, including “Digital Services” – and create products according to market needs
  • Creation of the necessary marketing material, trainings, service sales initiatives and campaigns to support service and sales organization
  • Responsibility for the preparation and regular update of presentations, technical documentation and/or other marketing material

 

Your profile:

  • Technical background with Bachelor or master’s degree in service and/or product management
  • Profound understanding of business models and digital services
  • Understanding and experience in business processes and project management
  • Experience in international project team lead
  • High communication skills with people of different cultures
  • Working experience in international companies, preferably capital goods industry
  • Fluent in English and German, additional language skills (esp. Chinese) are an asset
