For our Swiss Headquarters in Trübbach we are looking for a 

Head of Human Resources 

Evatec is a Swiss company with offices in the US, Europe and Asia that specialises in the development, production and sale of high-tech thin film deposition equipment for the semiconductor, optical and optoelectronics markets. Your main tasks:

  • The Head of Human Resources coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs; manages the HR team and reports to the Chief Financial Officer
  • Working collaboratively with executive management, line managers, HR team, and other stakeholders to build a culture of excellence and innovation
  • Advising & coaching management in all questions of HR management, such as personnel development, recruiting, compensation etc.
  • Providing tools and guidelines to support and implement policies and procedures, domestic and international employment agreements, development of HRIS, field office employee manuals, benefit summaries and compensation guidelines
  • Maintaining a high-quality central HR function, including appropriate technology, systems, and tools, which enable to deliver metrics and people data on which key decisions are taken
    Managing the recruiting and on-boarding processes
  • Working with management to ensure the selection of the right candidates for all positions
  • In consultation with the legal department, resolving complex, delicate employee relation issues in a balanced, fair and objective manner, using appropriate counseling, investigative, intervention and mediation techniques
  • Leading development and execution of employee engagement, retention strategies and initiatives including the design and implementation of a personnel and management development trainings, mentoring and succession plans
  • Guiding the performance management process and facilitate improvement of performance management systems and training for domestic and international staff
  • Managing compensation and benefits administration, including Swiss payroll and pension plan
  • Supporting and coaching of offshore management and HR in all questions of HR management and leadership
  • Disciplinary leadership of the Swiss HR team, professional leadership of the offshore HR teams


Your profile:

  • Knowledge and long-term experience with state of the art HRM methodology (Executive Recruiting, Management Development, Performance Management, Total Compensation & Benefit, Culture Development, Management Coaching, Organizational Development and Design)
  • At least 5 years of experience in an international environment, ideally in the industry sector with Asian context
  • Economical university degree or equivalent
  • Experience as line manager (preferably with P&L responsibility) is an asset
  • Absolutely trustworthy and reliable person for management and employees
  • Good communicator with cross-cultural skills
  • Coaching and consulting experience
  • Experienced in Change management
  • Fluent in English and German, additional language skills are an asset
