Application Engineer
To carry out this role you will probably have a higher education (e.g. Bachelor’s degree) in engineering, physics, materials science or equivalent. You will enjoy problem solving challenges, working with people from different cultures and countries and some travelling with lots of self-determination to get things done. Knowledge of vacuum and thin film technology would be great as would previous experience / knowledge of either the semiconductor, optoelectronics or photonics industries.
LOVE YOUR JOB:
- Developing and testing of new equipment and processes at Evatec
- Giving advice and training in hardware and process issues to service technicians / customers
- Commissioning of multi million dollar production tools for customers including:
- Hardware and software tests according to test specifications / quality standards
- Documentation of necessary adjustments before equpment shipment
- Support for installation and final acceptance at customers around the world (FAT)
