Field Service Engineer

Your main tasks:

• Providing On-Site Support to customers using Evatec equipment for the manufacturing requirements
• Reacting to system down emergencies to ensure the systems are returned to production in a timely matter
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Evatec products by using the training you will receive and your knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment
• Communicating with our technical support team locally and Heads of Business Units in Switzerland to ensure corrective actions are taken efficiently and precisely
• Travelling upon business needs to other region, will include international travel for training on Evatec products and processes
• Working independently and in a team environment
• Acting as a Liaison between Evatec customers and Evatec Headquarters to ensure all concerns are addressed accurately and effectively for long term resolution

Your profile:

• Bachelor Degree in engineering is preferred
• Minimum of 5 years experience in customer service
• Electrical and mechanical skills
• Experience in high vacuum semiconductor production equipment. Experience in sputtering technology is a plus
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in Japanese and English
• Ability to quickly adapt to new circumstances
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Good decision-making skills
• Ability to encourage and motivate people with responsible attitude
• Reading and understanding German is beneficial, but not required
• Willingness and capability to travel
