Application Engineer

Your main tasks:

• Execution and logging of internal plant acceptances (IAT), if necessary together with customers, as well as subsequent release of the plants for dispatch
• Independent technical and process-related commissioning of production plants with takeover from dispatch in full responsibility until signing of the final acceptance test (FAT)
• Step-by-step process commissioning and application within the scope of plant retrofitting
• Implementation of applications at customers or at Evatec
• Technical consulting and training of service technicians and customers in software and process-related topics
• Cooperation in the development and testing of new equipment, accessories and processes
• Field of application is Europe

Your profile:

• Higher technical education (technician or engineer studies) preferably with the subject area of mechanical engineering, physics or electrical engineering
• Knowledge of vacuum and thin film technology is advantageous
• High degree of independence, initiative and ability to work in a team
• Problem-solving competence and a good grasp of the issues
• Ability to communicate efficiently between the internal departments and the customer
• Good command of English, both spoken and written, other foreign languages an advantage
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Willingness to travel
• Class B driving license
