Sales Manager for Systems Sales

Evatec is a Swiss company with offices in the US, Europe and Asia that specialises in the development, production and sale of high-tech thin film deposition equipment for the semiconductor, optical and optoelectronics markets. From the high brightness LEDs in our cars to the sensors and filters in our mobile phones our know how enables the world’s leading manufacturers to deliver solutions for autonomous driving, smart wearables and hand helds and high performance 5G mobile networks.


Your main tasks

  • Providing sales support to customers using Evatec's equipment for their manufacturing requirements
  • Owning assigned customer accounts
  • Negotiating with customers in both technical and commercial related areas to win orders and provide support for customer payment collection according to the contract when needed
  • Initiate and execute Sales & Marketing activities in alignment with local and headquarters management to promote Evatec products and solutions to customers
  • Preparing a business plan for areas of market responsibility and achieve agreed sales targets
  • Participating at and representing Evatec during trade exhibitions
  • Travelling to other regions as needed including international travel for training on Evatec products and processes
  • Acting as interface between Evatec management and our customers to ensure all concerns are addresses accurately and effectively for long term resolution
  • Working both independently and in a team environment
  • Conducting business activities with discipline and integrity

Your profile

  • A minimum of 5 years sales experience of PVD ( Sputter or Evaporation) equipment in the MEMS / Power Device industry is preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in Chinese and English language
  • Able to adapt quickly to new circumstances
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good decision making skills
  • Able to prepare reports in a structured way
  • Able to read and understand German ( advantageous but not essential)
  • A bachelors degree or higher in engineering, physics or materials science is preferred
